With the new Easly-soa tests in our range, EasyToys is making it easier than ever for customers to check their sexual health. The tests can be taken completely anonymously and discreetly at home, lowering barriers and improving access to healthcare.

The need for effective STI prevention is greater than ever. In 2023, 4% more people had themselves tested for STIs at Centers for Sexual Health (CSG) in the Netherlands than in 2022. However, the percentage of positive diagnoses remained stable at 21%. The 31% increase in gonorrhea cases highlights the importance of regular testing. Chlamydia remains the most common STI, with slightly fewer diagnoses (24,048) in 2023 than the previous year. Syphilis diagnoses increased slightly, and although the number of new HIV diagnoses decreased slightly, it remains crucial to take appropriate preventive measures.

- Chlamydia: There were 24,048 diagnoses in 2023. Women remained positive in 16.8% of cases, while the rate for heterosexual men was 19.6%.
- Gonorrhea: The number of diagnoses increased significantly to 13,853, with rates of 4.1% in women and 3.5% in heterosexual men.
- Syphilis: There were 1,693 diagnoses in 2023, with a stable rate of 2.3% among men who have sex with men (MSM).
